1. Sorry, I think the LA mix will do it for me for now

  3. Internet is a wide world...

In my opinion, the tapers don't own in no way the bootlegs nor any rights over them, apart of the obvious: they have recorded it, ok. But if you don't want your beloved bootleg to be used and shared, simply don't spread it on the internet. Many tapers do that, they keep their bootlegs to their own and their friends, and don't give them away for free; if you upload it to the internet and giving it for free, you are implicitly agreeing with the ones who want to modify or use your bootleg, aren't you?

Ok, their wishes should be respected most of the times (mostly in the cases of converting their job into a lossy work, which I understand)... but making a matrix with two or more sources is something admirable and amazing, which in no way means a loss of quality in the original taper's work. I think you should upload it, giving all the credits and thanks to the respective tapers, of course.

    Just my two cents
  4. You can be more pragmatic and realize that whatever the tapers reason, they must have a reason. If you deliberately disobey their wishes and mess with their recording, sure if might be good for this one time, but you're angling to get more recordings hoarded. So if its worth it to burn the bridge this time, knock yourself out. I would argue to have a little more foresight and not rock the boat.
  5. I dont understand tapers requests like these, but I think you shouldnt share the matrix.

There are dozens of great recordings that you can matrix with permission, in the end 2009-09-12 is just a single date no one cares about in the future.

They will just download great alternatives, like Sheffield, Barcelona, Rose Bowl, East Rutherford, Milan and your other/next matrices.

Anyway it is up to you. I would love downloading your matrix, but I would love having everything
