1. Studio version doesn't have much Bono either. Still like the track. Edge's echo is great
  2. I really liked it. Could definitely hear the U2 influence with Edge's guitar. Would have liked to hear a verse with Bono, but whatever. That's besides the fact. Huge stars cowriting together for one cause. Great song.
  3. itunes is dam fast you can download all the songs and video already
  4. I was disappointed there wasn't more Bono in the song, but I think it's a good song. And if you want to sell a single, Jay-Z and Rihanna is a better bet than Bono.

This is "Version 1.0". I wonder if there's another one with more Bono. Maybe this is the hip-hop version.

That might make sense. I hope you're right. That might make up for a lot of discussion.

For the rest: Jay-Z is nominated for a Grammy Award.

And Steven Seagal is nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy for his outstanding work in a leading male role.

    And then I woke up.....screaming!
  6. ok, I have now bought the studio version. It's pretty good.

  7. As most of you i also disliked that live version... Bono was probably giving his best performance ever but nobody heard it
And Edge well... I don't see why that would be "great"... He's just doing some background jingling (or something like that) no real guitar playing (imo)

BUT this guy is right, i downloaded the studio version and it's MUCH better
  8. I like the song a lot and cannot get it out of my head. Not enough Bono, though, but I like the hook. Jay-Z is one of the better rappers and I love Edge's guitar on the song. Great song, I'm surprised I like it so much, and I think it was one of the best performances, simply because it was especially written for that occasion. But in the end, it's not important because all of the performances were for a good cause.
