  1. In the modern age of watching tv online for free and box sets its easy to go through television shows fairly quickly once you get hooked. If you were to recommend one tv show to watch what would it be and why?

    Starting it off I'll go for Lost. Why? I'm big into Psychology and this show has by far the best characterisation that I've ever come across. It's clever, quirky and well scripted too. It's main problem though is that people forget certain plot lines between series and literally get lost (pun intended).

    But now its your turn -what show is the best out there?
  2. LOST by far, genuinely intelligent and utterly captivating. The twists are mindblowing as well.

    LOST is a show that really rewards careful watching, if your one of those people who goes to a movie and asks "who's that guy again?" it's not for you and you won't appreciate it's depth.
  3. House MD !!!

    You learn something about diseases, the human body etc. (if you can follow it)
    And Dr. House is... Funny as hell. You gotta love his sarcasm
    + I like it that there are always 2 stories at the same time : the one of House and the one of the patient...


    I also want to say that I used to like Lost too, but after a while it started to make no sense at all it became so unbelievable that i just started to laugh with it... Ridiculous !
    So i stopped following the show

    Comedy - Arrested Development.

  5. Drama: The Sopranos
    Although Lost, The Wire, Mad Men, Dexter, and Six Feet Under all deserve consideration.

    Comedy: Arrested Development indeed
    Both versions of The Office are very good (although the American version is starting to lose momentum) and Curb Your Enthusiasm is solid. Thinking about getting into Entourage.
  6. I love Lost, amazing show, i've watched every episode since it first came out and I've loved it all the way.
    I also still watch Survivor, even though a lot of people have given up on it

    I also love the show NCIS, great great show. My dad is into it way more than I am though lol, he tapes every single one all through the night and watches them all the next day
  7. Drama: West Wing. Loved all 7 seasons.
    Close mention to Lost, 24 and House.

    Never seen The Wire but have heard great things.

    Comedy: Either BlackAdder, Fawlty Towers or Scrubs. Not sure which.

  8. wow great to see u guys like LOST!!! Its the best stuff i have ever seen (including movies)! I cant wait for the last season. Only one more week.

  11. Season 4 of Dexter was amazingly good

    I like NCIS a lot too! A good smack on the back the head I'll know what to watch in the train tomorrow morning

    Must say i like the original series a bit more than the Los Angeles spin-off. Although that one might grow on me as well.
