  1. Anyone else agree that is is one GREAT album??


  2. For the most part. I think I'd have to spend far much more time with this album to appreciate every single track, but I can listen to the first half, or maybe even 75% of the album seamlessly, whenever I want. "Keep the Car Running" is my ultimate favorite song by Arcade Fire, with "Wake Up" coming in close second.
  3. Just a random post, but I just wanted to share it. Everytime I hear "Wake Up" on the radio or whatever, I almost start to cry and my emotions have a tremendous hype... I'll never forget it. It was the song which was sounding all over when U2 jumped to the stage in the first U2 show I ever attended... It was my birthday, and I will be eternally thankful to Arcade Fire for that incredible presentation of my gift

    Sergio, you should check YouTube for the live versions of this song when they were touring Neon Bible...Arcade Fire would play their last encore, let the place file out of the room and into the lobby, and they would parade out into the lobby with their instruments and play it in the lobby, with the whole crowd singing along. Fantastic.

  6. Nah, Funeral was much much better, I found Neon Bible disappointing.

  10. Not really the best place to ask this. But I'm trying to discover new bands, I already asked about Muse. Now I'm asking it about Arcade Fire. I've only heard that song in the opening of the vertigo tour from them. What do you suggest? An specific album? A compilation? Which?

    They're apparently coming out with a new album this summer (which leads me to think they'll be opening for U2 in 2010)....The only 2 albums I have are "Neon Bible" and "Funeral." I don't listen to "Neon Bible" much, except for "Keep the Car Running" and "Intervention." But I have been listening to "Funeral" straight through several times lately in the past month....definitely one that's grown on me, so I'd start there.
