1. Yeah, it's another list topic....but I don't think there's one like it around.

Like the recent (and great) The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree remastered bonus discs, what extra tracks would you add to the other albums - as a second disc or something? Are there any songs, live tracks, remixes, interviews or B-sides you'd add that not many other people would add or think of, or maybe even a special compilation disc like non-album-singles?

    Original Soundtracks

    Miss Sarajevo (Single Version) *
    Bottoms (Zoo Station Remix) *
    Viva Davidoff *

The one with the banner held by the women on the cover of Miss Sarajevo has all three.

    Pop

    Holy Joe (Garage Mix)
Happiness Is A Warm Gun (The Gun Mix)
    Mofo (Phunk Phorce Mix)
    Mofo (Romin Remix)
North And South Of The River
    Please (Single Version)
I'm Not Your Baby (Skysplitter Dub) *
    Big Girls Are Best
Last Night On Earth (First Night In Hell Remix) *

    * If you don't have those last two, get them any way you can. LNOE is on the Popmart Mexico bonus DVD and I'm Not Your Baby is on the Please single. They are absolutely ridiculous mixes but so different to anything else by U2 you might have heard; even though they are remixes.

All That You Can't Leave Behind

    The Ground Beneath Her Feet
    Levitate
    Always
    Love You Like Mad
    Flower Child
    Summer Rain
    Walk On (Single Version)
    Stuck (Acoustic)

How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

    Fast Cars (Album Version)
    Neon Lights
    Smile
    Xanax And Wine
    All Because of You (Alt)
    Native Son
    Yahweh (Alt)
Sometimes You Can't Make It... (Alt)
Interview With The Band (HTDAAB Bonus DVD)
Crumbs From Your Table (HQ Performance)
Sometimes You Can't Make It... (HQ Acoustic)
    Vertigo (Temple Bar Edit)
    Vertigo (Jacknife Lee 10'' Mix)
    City Of Blinding Lights (Live)
    Are You Gonna Wait Forever
    Mercy

    No Line On The Horizon

    Winter
    Kingdom Of Your Love
No Line On The Horizon 2
  2. Always, levitate, native son, love you like mad, smile? can these be added?

  3. Always, Levitate, Love You Like Mad on ATYCLB and the rest on HTDAAB.

I forgot about the 1990 - 2000 new mixes as well as the later remixes. Anyone got any ideas on Achtung Baby or Zooropa?

u gona add em on the list?

  5. Yeah - I had them already on Medium Rare And Remastered so it wasn't exactly something to have them twice. However, I'll edit the first post.

yeh thats where they r all from, so do we have to think of songs/ mixes that arent on disc?

  7. Just to extend the albums, to have a longer album sort of.

If it's on a single, EP, special edition, stuff like that - just so people who see it can have ideas on getting extra songs and having a different album experience.

I'd say Lady With the Spinning Head, but it's just The Fly+Ultraviolet...but still, I'd love to hear it on AB. Maybe even as a sandwich between the two songs somehow, segueing into one another. Who knows. I don't.

    Achtung Baby

Alex Descends Into Hell For A Bottle Of Milk
    The Lounge Fly Mix
    Lady With The Spinning Head
    Night And Day
    Satellite Of Love
    Salomé
Where Did It All Go Wrong
    Paint It Black
    Wild Horses (Temple Bar Edit)
    Fortunate Son
    Can't Help Falling In Love

    Zooropa

    Slow Dancing
    Bullet The Blue Sky (Live)
    Love Is Blindness (Live)
I've Got You Under My Skin
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me *

Any number of the Lemon, The Real Thing or Mysterious Ways remixes as well.

    * Released in 1995 but originated from Zooropa so maybe it could be.

Isnt Big Girls Are Best atyclb-era?

Big Girls is funny song with a groovy/catchy riff. I'm Not Your Baby is very, very good, and Happiness sounds like a James Bond-soundtrack.
  11. For the Zooropa extras it would be great if they included the versions of
    - Wake Up Dead Man
    - If You Wear That Velvet Dress
    - HMTMKMKM
because the song names are on the cover of Zooropa (that distressed type)

A little aside on album cover design - anyone noticed that

    - Achtung Baby's album cover with a grid of squares 4x4

    - Zooropa's album cover is a grid of squares 3x3

    - Pop's album cover is a grid of squares 2x2

Just a nice little connection between the albums I like...
