1. Engenhão would be a better choice in Rio and Parque Antarctica in São Paulo.. São Januario and Pacaembu are fuckin' horrible xD

    i was really expecting them to come in november cos' i'm already going to coldplay in rio in february.. i live very very very far away from rio and sao paulo (i live in belém, amazon forest) so it's really expensive for me to go there..

    but, if they really do come in april/may, i'll have to find a way to get money
    one gig in rio and one in sao paulo.. that'd be brilliant

    CAN'T WAIT!!

    I came onto this interview today from an RT from @atU2 in twitter.
    Bono is interviewed after the "NIKE: LACE UP (RED)" campaign the other day.
    he's interviewed by a Mexican correspondant of FOX and in the last few seconds he asks Bono if the Band will be going to MEXICO,
    Bono: YES
    FOX: when???
    Bono: I can't say, I'd have to kill you
    Bono: all I can say is, keep the bed warm...

    to finish:
    I have a friend, that he have contacts with managers of shows exactly… this friend informed me with antecedence on the coming of the Killers, Keane and Coldplay to Brazil… it was knowing two weeks ago:

    * the production here already had seen to some time as they went to bring stage and where stage would go to be in the stadium perhaps

    * it will be before leg North American, probably Mexico will be announced together

    * high prices it only goes to have TRACK, and 3 arquibancadas, perhaps have area VIP if the globe to enter in the stop

    * only the 1 or 2 values each sector type, the superior one… 'back' of backstage it can have a price, and the remaining portion can have another one

    * they do not believe the boatarias of the periodical " estadão" … that was plus a kick of the press it now remains to wait...

    its good for remembering that shows in the South America announces on of the hour… then, do not doubt if to announce 2 or 3 months before ... it occurred in vertigo tour… therefore I prefer not to create expectations on announcing soon

    OMG!!!!

    Engenhão would be better for sure ... and what about Arena Barueri? I think Pacaembu and Paletra Italia are very similar... both are just acceptable... not good, but useable... and the Arena is great and modern hough slightly smaller
  4. Oh no ! I´m worried... If the new album is prmissed to be released in June, how will they com before the stadiums close? They have to come .....

    i'm still praying for november!

    They could play in Interlagos too.. Iron Maiden played there this year, i've seen some footage and it was monumental!! 100,000 people
  6. they had given to understand that the new album leaves until June… they had not given an accurate stated period… can leave before or even later… and on tour, at any moment paul mcguinesse speak that it comes back in June… it only said that the staff will be everything ready for tour… people not interpret right what it said

    if the forecast of the album exists to be launched in June, it will have to be ready before, what they would not hinder to come to Latin America

    by the way, something would be a strategy of intelligent marketing… that they had not yet made… launched album being in June… and show in Latin America in April or May...and begin divulgation of new album here… touching 2 or 3 new musics… and who knows until recording a clip…. as it was Walk On in 2001, filmed in Rio de Janeiro
  7. as I am on vacation, without very what to make, I walked making some projections for tour in 2010, local that the band will pass and etc:

    Paul Mcguiness had said that they would be around 95 shows in tour 360º… during about 18 months (half of 2009 + the entire year of 2010)

    45 shows had been in 2009

    they would lack 50 shows in 2010:

    marked Europe/North America already, 35 shows… would still remain 15 for 2010:

    Latin America:
    2 in the city of Mexico
    2 in São Paulo
    1 in Rio De Janeiro
    2 in Buenos Aires
    1 in Santiago

    Asia/Oceania:
    2 in Japan
    3 in Australia
    2 in the new zealand

    that is, those dates in Egypt, Thailand, Indonesia, and the ray breaks that it is all fictitious… fruits of the imagination of that it invented that,

    April/May = Latin America, June/July = Europe, August/September/beginning of October = Europe, end of October/November = asia/oceania

    december: happy christmas and new year :p

    Yes, Iron Maiden was surely awesome, but I have heard plenty about the mud and what horrible place that is for watching a show.

    I was there... The concert was amazing indeed! But in terms of the venue, it has no condition to receive events like this. only 2 gates. Bad parking and it´s not a very good neighbourgh. And there was all the mud. Many people didn´t get correctly what they (Iron Maiden) said also.. they said that adding up their two concerts in Brazil there were more than a hundred thousand, oficially there were 64,000 in interlagos and 40,000 in Paletra in their earlier gig.

    u2360 would not be there anyway, it is a stadium tour, the stage is made for stadiums, the visibility would suck an they´d have to adapt the stage because it is not a plain ground in Interlagos, it is very "hilly". Well, it might even be there, but it would be a terrible choice, I´d rather have 3 shows in Palestra. But they are the ones to know
  10. rumours about south america shows, appeared in 28/1/2010

    1) Argentine website says that McGuinness confirmed shows in Argentina in October.

    http://www.nomascds.com/2010/01/u2-confirmo-que-tocara-en-octubre-de-2010-en-buenos-aires-como-parte-de-la-gira-promocional-de-su-ultimo-disco-no-line-on-the-horizon-360%C2%BA-tour-en-argentina

    2) Chilean site speaks that producer T4F confirms interest in bringing U2 for South America in 2010.

    "La productora multinacional Time For Fun (T4F) confirmó que está interesada en traer a U2 a Sudamérica con el U2360° Tour.

    El anuncio lo realizó el gerente general de la compañía, Francisco Goñi, quien además detalló que para que se concrete la visita de U2 es necesario contar con el Estadio Nacional, al igual que para traer a Chile a Pearl Jam y Bon Jovi a finales de año. "

    3) in the Multishow canal, of Globo (main TV of Brazil) a program would have spoken in 3 shows in Brazil in the October month (probably 2 in São Paulo and 1 in Rio de Janeiro)…

    sincerely, I only believe u2.com now...all days appear diverse rumors on shows in the South America...already joke… and of taste with the fans of the band became badly

    I would like that the band, Paul Mcguinness or Live Nation came the public to clarify this… an official note in the site of the band would be excellent
  11. Paul McGuiness talks about 2011, since it's hard to transport the big stage by ships
  12. the truth is that, they must have negotiations for Latin America, oceania and Asia… only that while 100% will not be nothing confirmed… the producer, the band and the managerr will go to contradict… it is a strategy to preserve the negotiations and not to create an expectation exaggerated in the fans

    Brasil = São Paulo
    Argentina = Buenos Aires
    Chile = Santiago
    Peru = Lima
