1. Songs that come to mind (not including b-sides - a number of them are quite weak)
    The Ocean
    Shadows and Tall Trees
    Stranger in a Strange Land
    Is That All?
    With A Shout
    The Refugee
    4th of July
Trip Through Your Wire (this one's probably gonna upset a few peope)
    WHEN LOVE COMES TO TOWN
    Daddy's Gonna Pay...
    Some Days...
    THE PLAYBOY MANSION
    Miami
    Grace
    New York
    Peace on Earth
    Love and Peace or Else
    Crumbs...
    A Man and A Woman
White As Snow (same rationale as Grace)

...I`ve always liked Promenade and Elvis Presley and America
  2. Any popular music these days...

    Or any coldplay song

  3. Cmon Coldplay are not that bad, have you hear Clocks? or LiTii? or Lovers In Japan?
If you dislike alt rock then sure, you'll think they're crap, but seeing as your a U2 fan that's not likely.

Lol, no I don't dislike all rock at all! It's my favourite genre. Something about them just bothers me is all. Something just gets on my nerves. I don't know if its the fact that htye sound like U2 a bit and used the same producer for an album, or if its the fact that Chris Martin can barely hit the high falsettos live, or if its just that I don't like their music. I like rock but i don't like Green Day, I don't like Def Leppard, same idea really. I just don't like Coldplay that much.

Life In Technicolour with the vocals is so boring. I prefer the instrumental - most instrumental openings are great. I only liked the last and first tracks on that album.

And 8000 posts now - should I open a 'I registered at u2start and lived to 8000 posts' thread?

lol, good man, but no...those are always so pointless. "Look at me! I spend way too much time on the internet!"

  7. Maybe I'll rename my upcoming thread to that!!!
  8. And if we talk about U2 songs, then it is Suck in a Moment, WOWY (yeah, I don't really like it - and don't say:"listen to it live from JT tour" or something... I still don't like it) and The Wanderer.

I meant alternative rock, not all rock.

Chris Martin is a pretty good singer (have you heard the Scientist?), sure his voice doesn't have the versatility of Bono's, but who does?
  10. Easily Lemon. I actually get embarressed if people know it's u2. Ruins zooropa for me. Close runners up include:

    Babyface
    Elvis n America
    Miami ( terrible)
    refugee

To me these are plain terrible n embarrassing. Of course there are others that I dislike but they don't compare to these. Ohhh... And anything by Coldplay
