1. I love LCT, its better than half the tracks on the album. The only thing I dislike about it (apart from the repetitive lyrics - another different verse would have been good) is the really really REALLY long arpeggiatted outro, that seems to go on forever.
The fact that the outro sounds like its about to end at one point but then continues is also annoying.

  2. The album of the musical turning for the U2 group will make soon its return on the front of the scene. Achtung Baby (1991) will be in its turn remasterized for September 4, 2010! The traditional editions will be: - Simple CD - Double CD - Vinyl - Box Deluxe (2 CD + DVD)

1991's Achtung Baby will be remastered for release on September 4 2010. The formats will be:

    - single CD release

    - double CD release

    - vinyl release

    - box-set release (double CD and DVD)

Any guesses as to what the unreleased tracks will be? I'm betting Down All Days, Stay At This Time and The Ballad Of New Orleans.
  3. Yay. I still haven't got any of the remasters, but I'm definitely buying this one.

  4. The Joshua Tree one is well worth it. That's about the best one - if this tops that I'll be shocked.

I'm surprised Zooropa hasn't been reported as due for a remaster. That one would be amazing.

It costs $9 or so on Amazon, so I might grab it soon.

Can't wait for the Songs of Ascent remaster

  6. Well worth it, you get the Paris show remastered and the cringe-worthy video of Red Hill Mining Town. I'd keep it hidden for 20 years too.

At the rate U2 are hyping it, I might not want a remaster.
  7. Ab remaster... okay. buy.
  8. WTF, Achtung for 2010 too? I wish they'd waited to 2011, 20 years is the minimum decent time in my opinion. Soon we'll get the extra-super deluxe edition of How To Dismantle, I can't wait
  9. Any guesses on what the dvd will be? I can't see them just re-releasing Sydney, because they just released that on dvd a few years ago. I hope we get something worthwhile this time, unlike the stupid UF dvd. Maybe we'll get the outside broadcast special? Or maybe a whole seperate show, like Washington or Stockholm or Adelaide?

    Alex
  10. Outside Broadcast is what I think, in case they don't release a mash-up DVD like the TUF one, with 3 or 4 songs from various shows...
I hope they bring us something decent, otherwise i won't buy it (either)...

  11. you mean the double cd/dvd edition? can i get a link?
