  2. Useless discussion about some wrongly-translated talian word

They played it twice because they wanted to. That's all.
Everyone can give his/her own explanation, but the above statement is a fact

Actually, your statement isn't quite the whole story. They played Vertigo twoice as a nod to the "Boy" tour. They'd said many times during the press for HTDAAB that it seemed to be full-circle and return to some of the themes/ideas of "Boy".

So why a nod to Boy? During the Boy tour, they didn't have 'enough songs (their words in various interviews) so they used to open with "The Ocean" and then "11 O'Clock Tick Tock". hey would then play them in opposite order to close the show ("11 O'Clock Tick Tock" and then "The Ocean").
  4. Yes, I know that perfectly, and that is another explanation of why the wanted to play it twice. But they played it twice because they wanted to, can you disagree with that?

Nah, you're absolutely wrong. To say "again" you should use "di nuovo".

    Again:
In MUSICAL context (let's say it again because you read dictionaries but not posts: in MUSICAL context) the accurate term is "Bis". You are searching the root, not the word actually used. Why a musician should know this ? Because is a musical TERM used in MUSICAL context such as the word "Coda". I don't think you say "The yet was very good" when you mean the encore was very good. (Well, maybe you do)
And if you have the time, look for MUSICAL and CONTEXT in your pocket dictionary, so you can understand what I meant.

  11. Is this a joke, or was there something actually said about him not enjoying the song? Or not getting his drum solo at the end of 40?
