It's a blend between really well produced rock and what people call "emo"...the lead singer has a very interesting range, where he can sing well in a medium-high range, and then really belt out a good high range as well. I'd highly, highly reccomend lisening to "Kings and Queens", "This is War", and "Closer to the Edge" (my personal favorite)- it'll give you a nice taste of their music.

As far as the album goes, it flows so well and I enjoy the style so much, I know it'll be played over, and over, and over, and OVER again in my player.

No problem. It's a great front to back album, flows very nicely, and that choir-y sound prominent in 'Kings and Queens' appears quite often on the album, which I love.

Thinking back over, probably not one of the TEN best of the decade, but my #2 of 09
