Depends on the result you want. 75 MB if you want youtube-like pixelated crap, about 350 MB for a good result.

Shit that ain't half bad. 350mb. Have to try that. cheers
  3. You can download ready to burn DVDs there anyway. You download it > with 2 clicks you burn it to DVD > you leave the torrent running until you uploaded as much as you downloaded > you delete the data from your HD > you start the next one.

I had a HD of 40 GB when I started torrenting. No prob.

sounds good aswell. I'm still a little fish in a big sea with the amount of audio available here. Once i've cleared this lot i'll move on to all the essential vid's. then all the non-essentials
  5. I have no gold-ears, so I only use Torrents for video concerts, or when I want just a single song of a show..The rest of the audios are got from here, mp3 (lossy) format.

It's very useful for this 2 things, but having 1 GB for each concert...

Anyway, I've downloaded the most of my 120 DVDs from there, and i'm grateful for that.

120 Is there enough room over there to keep this DVD's? What a huge number

Well, I only have the "Very Good" to "Excellent" stuff...
I know people who has 600 or more DVDs... Lol it makes me think the amount of hours his modem has worked...
  8. Quick question- My U2 T's ratio was at a .24...I use Vuze/Azureus to leech and seed, but it seems that the seeding that the client is doing is very, very, very miniscule. I had my ratio at a .25 (because I've almost never used the site), and after downloading a Dublin DVD, it went down to a .22, then seeded back up to a .24 and refused to budge. I decided to download Gen's U2ubed Project from Wembley, half because I really wanted it and half because I want to be able to have another thing to seed to potentially boost my ratio.

Does anyone know if Vuze is just terrible at seeding, or have the few torrents I've selected just that obscure that nobody is leeching them from me? And do you have any tips as to how I can pull that ratio back up, whether it's seeding from a different client or what?

    Thanks guys!
  9. I have and will always use uTorrent, it's just the best in my opinion.

Have you checked if you have an upload speed limit? It happened to me the first times I was using torrents, I uploaded about 5 kbps, therefore my ratio went incredibly down... until I discovered what happened, I had set (without knowing it) my speed limit at 5 kbps and the program couldn't upload any faster.

If you don't have an upload speed limit, you have to go the old way: seed until your ratio hits 0.75 or 1.0 (even better!!), and then download at NOT full speed (yes, limit your download speed) in order to keep download~~upload rate more or less constant.
  10. Alright, I'm still having some problems. I've got nothing downloading right now, and I set my Vuze client to superseed the torrents I have from U2 T's (Currently the RnR Hall of Fame video, the new U2'ubed video, and a 360 lossless show).

Here's my problem, which is the same one I was having before. A long time ago, I was using a different client (called ABC) to download and seed, and it worked fine. I deleted the client from my machine awhile back, as it was causing me a few problems, and laid off the torrents for awhile.

Now I'm using Vuze, and I'm trying to upload the torrents I already have downloaded into that client so that I can seed everything I have (Which is quite a lot). My seeding on Vuze is going slow even with the three things I've downloaded by using Vuze are seeding.

I know how to upload torrents. All the files are in the same place as they were originally downloaded, there's no extra material in the folders- everything is identical to the way it was saved to my machine. I click "File>New Torrent" and use the Vuze torrent wizard, which prompts me to select the announce URL (Which I copied and pasted directly from U2T's uploading FAQ), the directory I wish to seed (which I select correctly every time), and to make the torrent private for only the specified tracker (Which U2T's requires). I select the proper settings, click "Begin seeding when created", and fill my library with all of my directories to seed.

Then, I get this message on every single damn torrent I attempt to seed.

Tracker Status: Scrape Error- Connection Timed Out: connect (IO)

EDIT: tracker just updated, here's the latest error-

Scrape Error- bencoded response malformed:BDecoder: zero length file (IO)

I don't know what this means, or if there's any possible way to fix it. The tracker announce URL i'm using is http://u2torrents.com/announce.php, copied and pasted right from U2T's.

My ratio is down to a .20 since I tried downloading the U2'ubed DVD, in hopes that it would initially bring my .25 down a little bit before I rocketed it back up by superseeding, but I'm down to a .21, and the seeding is going absolutely TERRIBLE from my machine. I don't understand why the other client I was using before seeded my torrents just fine, and Vuze doesn't want to cooperate.

Thanks to anyone with suggestions, and to Sergio for helping me out last time- I did end up changing my DL/UL limits to better my seeding, but nothing seems to seed these any faster. I finished DL'ing the U2'ubed concert a day and a half ago, and my share ratio is a pathetic 0.007 on it. I feel like a share-idiot.
  11. If you just want to seed existing torrents on u2torrents you dont need to create the torrent yourself. Just download the torrent from the site and point it to where the completed files are. Then seeding will be start automatically.

Or are you trying to seed something new on u2torrents?

Nope just trying to seed something I already got from there. So if I go to U2T's, save the torrent file, and then make its' save-directory the same one that the torrented files are already in, it won't down my ratio and automatically seed?

I'll be trying this after school, thanks so much! You're going to make my ratio a very very very very healthy one, haha!
