1. So, which songs from this album will we still be talking about in 20 years time? Who gets a seat at the table with Streets, One etc etc??

    Im gonna go for:

    Unknown Caller
    Breathe
    No Line on the Horizon
    Moment of Surrender
    Magnificent
  2. I think only MOS and No Line could survive another eventual tour, maybe Magnificent if they go for other "Best Of -tour". I can't see Unknown Caller and Breathe being performed out of the 360 tour, not to speak about I'll Go Crazy and Boots.

PS. Deleted the other topic, no worries
  3. I'd submit that we may still be talking about:
    Magnificent and
    Breathe
    in 20 years

but I'll still be listening to:
    Magnificent
    Breathe
    No Line
    Fez and
    Cedars
  4. Would love to see Unknown Caller on the next tour, its a great singalong.

And thanks for deleting the first topic haha.

    Argeed.
  6. Hopefully Boots will go, Crazy will be performed in its normal version. No Line hopefully stays cuz I love it. MOS might be too long and dark for another tour... id be too achward to be played in the middle of a show aswell.
  7. Yes, I hope that too, I really hope it. And I wish they played Fez and WAS, and so? I'm realistic and I said what I think will happen
  8. I hope Get On Your Boots and NLOTH and MOS
  9. I think MOS, but it would be nice to hear fez or unknown caller...
  10. I think Breathe, UC and MoS will go down as classics. Maybe Magnificent too.

They all have the signature U2 traits to earn such places.
  11. No Line On The Horizon
    Moment Of Surrender
    Fez - Being Born
    White As Snow
    Breathe
    Cedars Of Lebanon
    Winter

I figure it this way: if it's good enough for over half the album to be worthy in 20 years then it's a bloody good effort.
  12. This is actually a hard question to answer. First, since there were no break out hits from the album there are no "givens". I'm really not sure which songs I would guess will go down as classics at this point, maybe we'll see what stays for the next leg and the next tour (whenever that will be).
