1. Hi everyone. Firstly if this is in the wrong place or it has been done before please correct me, I just put it here as i didn't know where it should be.

Anyway, as all Aussie fans I'm hopeful of a U2 tour this or next year, and if so I hope to be in GA.

This would be the first time at any concert i've been in GA. So I was wondering if anyone could give me the basics of etiquette or basically 'what happens'? I'm aware of the fact you have to get there early etc etc.

What i'm asking is for example if you get the barrier are you stuck there till showtime or can you hold it if you're in a group? What happens with like toilets etc? just hold on?

Sorry about the long post about probably basic and stupid things but if anyone could give me and other first GA timers basically a run down of what happens from gates open to showtime would be appreciated Just in general, doesn't have to be U2 specific

    Thanks to everyone
  2. First and most important rule - dont let anyone tell you that 'this is my spot'!!!

GA by definition is that the space is general and not allocated so move around as freely as you like.

    Enjoy

Oh and if you want to get into the pit, get there as early as possible to get a wristband/stamp.

When you have that, you can come and go as you please for toilet/bevvy. Best to attend in a group and for 1 or 2 of you to go at a time to get the drinks!

  4. I think it is better to keep al ga stuff in themthread linked above.

    Please continue there!
