No words about the show and their performance...

We sung happy birthday to Chris in English and in Portuguese, and he loved! The funny fact was the drummer singing the happy birthday song in portuguese too!

There were 65.000 people at Morumbi stadium, and they all went nuts when the opera song was played before the show's begging. Viva La Vida, Fix You, Lovers In Japan and Life In Technicolor II are the highlights in my opinon, the last one closing the show with losts of colourfull fireworks. The butterflys are fucking awesome, and I really would love to see something similiar in a U2 gig. No words about Chris Martin too. He's an excelent "show captain" in my opinion, jumping and talking in Portuguese all the time.

I heard they're recording new stuff and will release it in november or december. I really can't wait to see then here again. Not an U2 show, but almost there, and with a great energy!

Good stuff Aidan, was able to catch them twice last summer, agree with everything you've said. Cheers .

  4. Anyone else ever get freaked out by how many Coldplay topics are on this sight?
  5. Do you mean "site" ?

Anyway, it's not a big deal in my opinion.
Coldplay, Muse, Snow Patrol and The Killers are the 4 big new bands on the rock / pop-rock panorama, so I find it ordinary that some/many U2 fans like those bands too.
  6. Hi everyone
I watched the concert here in Brazil on Tuesday, had nice spot in G.A., very very close to the C stage. Amazing performance. Ranks as my third best concert (after U2 and Paul McCartney) And I must say that the brazilian crowd is amazing. Incredible! Chris let us sing a lot pointing the mike towards us many times. It was my second time seeing them, last time was in Bradley Center in 2006. They play a longer set and have more songs now. For me the highlights were Shiver, Hardest Part, Talk/ God Put a Smile Upon Your Face and Lovers in Japan. A Great show - 4 stars!

PS: I'll see if I can post my friend's videos, I don't like taping it çause it keeps my focus from the song....

  7. What's the sound quality, Johnny? I have a lot of things to download those days, so I have to decide when I'm gonna to dowload this one hehe

    Hey Nikki

    How have you been?

Well, I have to say it was a really fantastic show But you had the chance to see Kings Of Leon and I really want to watch then here, but I think they don't know about Brazilian existence haha...And don't worry, no U2 shows scheduled in NZ or Brazil....Still wainting too, and gosh...Coldplay should play in NZ, but their tour is in the end and I don't believe it will happen

Agree with you here Sergio, and no matter how those bands are good, we're always focusing on U2 stuff
