    I was in the seats but still on the lower level.(jumped up and down during KOC though) Did you see what Matt was laughing at? I heard it was some terrible crowd surfer

    Oh yeah, I definitely saw the crowd surfer lol, that was great. It was so great to see Matt hysterically laugh in the middle of a song.

    Which side and how close were you to the stage, I was very close to the lower level (right, if you were looking from the stage) and about twenty people away from the stage from Guiding Light to the end.

    is there any footage on youtube yet? what song was it in.

  8. I was in Toronto on Monday just have a few thoughts for anyone who cares:

    -The stage setup was quite interesting, cool to see a few things they maybe took away from their time on the 360 tour, i.e. the open back and the revolving drum kit. Both immediately made me think of 360. Kinda cool i thought.

    - I was a little disappointed with the length of the show, it was barely an hour and 40 minutes, not that i'm complaining but with 5 albums in the bag i feel that they could pull off a 2-2 15 show quite easily. If they are truly the live act people say they are, i feel they need to step it up to that level on a nightly basis, no matter what continent/venue they're at.

    - Matt is one of the most talented frontmen i've ever seen. His voice is outstanding and he's excellent on guitar and piano. However, it feels like he still has a long way to go to get onto the Bono/Bruce Springsteen/Freddie Mercury level. With those guys they spend a tremendous amount of energy trying to interact with the crowd to take the concert to a higher emotional level. With Matt/Muse this never happened. They barely said two words to the crowd the whole night. I was a little disappointed with that because the crowd was certainly up for it, one of the better crowds i've seen. It was alot like the complaints people had with the Vertigo tour, it felt like a very "workman" like show.

    All that said it was one of the best live shows i've ever seen from a pure musical standpoint. All three of them are tremendous musicians and i would now call myself a fan of Muse, something i would not have said before. However if we're going to elevate them to the level where i think they have the potential to get to, i think they have a little ways to go. Just one guys opinion.

    I was in the middle seats straight back, about 9 rows behind ga.

  10. MuseWiki...

    During "Plug In Baby", a crowd surfing fan landed on his face breaking his nose. This caused Matt to point and laugh while singing.

    @2.30

  11. Well said
    Yeah, I was also a little disappointed with the length of the show and the almost no interaction with the crowd (glad i was not the only one who noticed that), but otherwise the show was amazing!

    The Knights of Cydonia encore was awesome!!
