  2. no shows in 2010 is looking a real possibility. Last year n't blow me away like it should have and only 1 out of 5 shows had a lasting impression. Gonna take some insane setlists to make me change my mind
  3. Does anyone know if there're fences in the Olympic Stadium in Rome which might interefere with your view towards the stage when you are sitting in row 1 ? I'm speaking of possitions like in 28BS ....Would be great if anyone from Rome could answer.

  5. I'm hoping to travel to Rome....don't know what tickets to get though....I can't find anywhere on the net where it tells you where the stage is gonna be? Any advice anyone?
  7. there'll be no u2010 for me, at least not live.

    intended to go to frankfurt with my uncle, but due to some changes in his life, he can't go and so can't I, which is ok though. I'm not all that disappointed.

  9. I wouldn't know how to get there and where to stay overnight.
    I'd have gone by train (ICE), my uncle'd have picked me up and I'd have stayed at his place for a day or two. besides, I'd not like to go alone.

  12. ok maybe people could give me a bit of advice!

    as there will be no UK dates me and a friend are contemplating looking into going somewhere in europe to see them but i've never been to see U2 in another country or even thought about it really until now...

    i suppose the main problem is i can't afford to spend loads of money. could probably fly for around £150 but the thing i'm most worried about is where to stay when we get there..

    do you think at this rather late stage there will be nowhere cheap available to stay? would it be far too risky to just go over there and hope there will be some cheap hotels with rooms available? another possible idea i had would be to see if i could book a cheap package holiday in the area of the gig but thats probably the most risky plan of all..

    any advice from people who have done this loads would be most welcome!
