1. I must say though, in part, he is right.

I've never seen people in U2 t-shirts either, nor blaring their music.

Why are we such introverted fans when we're behind the biggest band on earth?
  2. Ain't Noel on decent terms with U2 though?

I blair my music, all summer long. It has less to do with a love of U2 thoiugh, than playing counterbattery to the asshole across the street rocking out to Journey.

oh, I occasionally wear a U2shirt or sweater and sing along with songs when riding on my bike (but maybe not loud enough?)
  5. I think that Liam is quite funny, I love watching his interviews, especially when I understand what he is saying. The problem is that people take way too seriously the things that he says.

    I second that.
I would say....he talks a lot when the day is long...I guess he intended to trigger reactions like that and said what he said on purpose just for that matter.

Plus, I think that for the vast majority of artists who fill stadiums today, it's that the majority just comes coz they have that status = aren't hardcore fans.

  7. I would think so. Oasis did support U2 on Popmart for a few shows. Noel is just being a cocky cunt. He thinks Oasis were the biggest band ever.

If I gathered 10 of my friends and said "Are any of you an Oasis fan?", 2 would say yes. If I asked "Are you of you a U2 fan?", all would say yes. U2 are the most popular band at the moment, nuff said.
  8. Oasis are still going? Is it the same band that released that album in the mid 90's that was a huge hit? Thought they packed it in after that. Must be mistaken.

Wait, he's been in the news today:

Liam Gallagher has attacked U2 and Coldplay's dress sense. The former Oasis singer said he hates what the bands wear onstage, and the fact they've been styled. "I can tell bands who've been styled a mile off. U2?" he explained, adding: "There's no way you bought that jacket is there, Bono? Coldplay, they're at it too."

I would say what Bono wears on stage is more Rock and Roll than designing ladies clothes for a business called 'Pretty Green'

And I'd rather be a styled rock star than some jumped up chav on stage.

    hahahaha, very true.

I know someone who's styled U2, they say what they want and they get it made for them.
When I get that money, i'll be doing the same.

Did I say that? I love most of Oasis works I've heard, from the earliest demos and albums to the last one. I've seen them twice live, and I know how to play up to 20 of their songs on my guitar.

But that doesn't prevent me from saying he's a rude asshole.

Is that clear? Maybe my english is not good enough to make my posts understandable
