    Fortunantly much of the bill, doesen't kick in till 2014. I will almost assuredly be in the Air force by than, and the U.S, military has great insurance plans. (still need to get in shape some more)

    On a funny note, the campaign of virtually everyone Repub is going to be killing this. Its sad really, since people really aint gonna care about anything else. A candidate could probally get up on stage, and say he rape little boys, and people would still vote for him, if he vowed to fught against this.


    Dont you think insurance in the military is free? Also comes out of your pay eventually. You only have a bigger chance of actually needing it.

    Anyway, it seems the whole reformation is very poorly supported. It will probably fall again in a few months. I dont understand it, but it seems people have it better here in the NL. Although like yuri said, sometimes it is overdone here in the European Union.

    Just weird that a relatively weak EU (politic wise) can do so much more than the USA federal government.

    I understand completely, people abuse the system. I was just reflecting to the situation in the USA.

    Yeah it does come out of your pay, but that really dont matter too me.

    That being said, people should see the writing on the wall. The U.S. government cant run anything. They could probally fuck up a lemonade stand.

    The way I see it, this law is made for those that couldn't afford health assurance. If you're "dirt poor" than you couldn't afford health assurance until now. Now, people who have money will pay so that everyone could get the same treatment.

    In EU many people have free health assurance. I have it because I'm a student. Pensioners get it because they're pensioners. Kids have it because they're kids. Unemployed people have it because, obviously, they can't make their own money.

    It's just right. Of course people abuse it, but it's right to help each other. Why would anyone die from some treatable disease just because he's poor?

    Errr...no, they were in privilaged position until now.

    1. You cant be turned away from an emergency room in the U.S. if you have a real emergency. They have big-ass signs posted in them stateing that.
    2. Obamacare contains enough bribes to various states that the government could probally buy a third-world country.
    3. They snuck in a provision making it so the government is responsible for all student loans. What does that have to do with health care?
    4. The I.R.S. is to be the chief enforcement agency.
    5. 14 states(including Michigan) are preparing to file lawsuits challenging ints constitutionality, on grounds that it violate the 10th amedment, of the Bill Of Rights.

    Discuss.

    And why would they do that? They're there to help, it doesn't matter where they are from.
