    I'll just about wear $40 for a subscription and a CD, but why should I now have to effectively pay another $30 to get one extra remix that they could have put on the CD in the first place?

  4. U2 had some awful remixes, but the SP one is really rubish.
  5. Feel loved? No, We're suckers, but that's what fandom and e-commerce is all about. Exploitation.
    Of course, we do have free will and choice. However, there ain't enough bang for your buck with the U2.com subscription. It's great getting the cd's in the post. Anticipation, (and Patience) a (somewhat) unique gift nicely packaged, etc. But you do get the feeling that they could push the boat out a bit more.
    What else do we get apart from the cd? Where is the T-Shirt (e.g. U2 go home)? Online exclusive content (yeah right!) and an opportunity to buy tickets that are available on the open market anyway, an opportunity to spend more in the gift shop or on exclusive vinyl? We are essentially paying for a U2 cd by mail order. Maybe that's what Bono means when he refers to U2's audience as elastic... But it is our own choice, I guess, so we deserve what we get.
  6. I don't really care all that much. I got the CD. If someone wants to buy the vinyl then cool. I do think there should be a discounted price to members however.
  7. well ... an unexpected effect might be that p;eople like me actually mix with the records, and then post that mix for free .... for you to enjoy ....

    its not a shirt ... but a nice entertaining and moving mix of remixes ... properly mixed up, with a beautifull day encore !

  10. I only really got the subscription for the I'll Go Crazy 360 remix which is amazing. I've never really liked U2 mixes.
  11. I subscribed for a pre-sale code (which I never got to use) so I guess the CD was a bonus. The ebay sale should also cover my subscription fee. Win win


  12. Exactly. You know what you'll get before you join. Your choice if it's worth the money or not. Simple as that.
