  1. As it was said on a press release back in January, they suspended the australian tour because one familily member was suffering from cancer and actually a few weeks ago, unfortunately brandon's mother passed the way... RIP,
    on a lighter note they also confirmed they weren't spliting up...

  5. I was so disappointed with this guy when I saw Albert Hall DVD. He's so boring on stage.

    He doesn't play much and yet they had additional guitarist.

    He's not Jimmy Page, alright, but I wouldn't say he doesn't play much... He's always playing something, the fact is that sometimes his sounds are so drowned out in the mix that you can barely hear him. But I've seen tons of performances live (unfortunately not attended any - yet) and he's a fantastic lead guitar player imo

  8. Anyone else heard about Brandon Flowers' new solo album, its called Flamingo and its out sometime this year, I think September

  11. The Killers is exactly that kind of band that can only work with all its components.
    Matt Bellamy could deliver some high quality stuff without Muse, Freddie Mercury did some great stuff without Queen and Sting improved musically without The Police.
    But The Killers, U2, REM, Coldplay, Oasis, ...? They're nothing if they're not together.

    Regarding REM, U2 and coldplay I totally agree but for Muse and The Killers, based on their latest albums, I think that Matt&Brandon can/might do better on their own... but if it's brandon&matt who wanted to do songs like spaceman/human or undisclosed desire/nsc then I'm completely wrong and you're right... wait&see
