There seems to be a lot of bemoaning on this page when there really shouldn't be. U2 play to a huge audience, all of whom have payed decent money (or payed the 30 squids to get a crap seat).
The last tour had a beautiful balance between new songs, classics, more recent songs that everybody likes (CoBL, Vertigo + ATYCLB songs) as well as a few songs that haven't been played in nearly two decades/ songs they've never played before.
You might not agree with the song choice but the balance was good and as a result pretty much everyone went out the door with a smile on their face.
I don't know if they read these pages but that's one thing that the guys should take away with them from the last two legs.
Second thing you've got to ask yourself; do you really want more rotation? The performances on this tour have been marked as superior to the Vertigo tour, probably because the band are more used to the songs.
Would you then swap level of performance for a greater variety of songs, keeping in mind that most people here seem to be only going to 1-2 gigs, if any at all
The 3rd and 4th legs will result in me attending 10 shows on this tour - too right I want rotation.
