u2 3d was nothing like that, you must be thinking of the trailer, and the editing doesn't make any sense, you can't even tell what's going on have the time, the edited it to show the hugeness and awesomeness of the stage, when what they should have done was edit it to go with the song, the only part where the editing actually goes with the song is right after edge's solo, then it goes right back to silly looking super fast motion aerial shots and super duper fast cuts
no one whos actually experienced in editing things other than comercials and music videos would never do anything like this

True. Even in the beggining you can see Bono on the circle while the rest of the song he spends on the main stage.

This was something edited in a hurry, in probably 5 minutes.

Now that I've watched it again: That was really bad. Not only the fast cuts that made the song somehow slow in my perception, but also the terrible performance by Bono.
Haven't seen or heard anything from Pasadena before, so that was quite surprising.
