  2. I disliked this one. The lyrics and guitars are messy.


  4. Bono mentions "Travelling salespeople on my mothers side". Breathe was born before then :O You've probably seen this before and I'm looking pretty slow right now

I remember reading about this in RS interviews, and Bono describing it as having "soaring guitar lines" and it being "a real stadium rocker; an anthem"...even though I love this song, and it's one of my absolute favorites on NLOTH, I still fail to see this connection. I can sort of hear the soaring guitar lines carrying through the chorus, but I expected a much more epic and drawn out type of soaring I guess.

    Oh well, we got a great song out of it

    Same, actually, but then again I guess it's down to personal interpretation - my generic thoughts when confronted with the idea of a soaring stadium rocker consist of the words 'Streets!'...but aye, still my favourite song off the album.
