1. Correct, but the topic is full of bullshit anyway.

But hey, keep it relevant Sergio!
  2. so today is the day! i wonder what U2 will play! what the hey!

  3. Wake up, there is no secret gig or whatsoever.

    To stay on-topic:

    From Twitter and Rolling Stone:
No new U2 album by June, band manager Paul McGuinness tells me in the new RS: “However, before the end of the year is increasingly likely."

  4. Oh, that's good news - and it doesn't come from Bono, so it may not just be wishful thinking... He must think they already have some good songs. This said, I still doubt they'll actually be able to pull out the album right after the end of the tour. On the other hand, Christmas sales may be a huge incentive for U2 to actually try to make the effort.

  8. Can't wait.

RS would be the third source that mentions the June - later the year thing. So everyone relax and check back in 7 months.
  9. unless we have beach clips or live versions (please, please plaese)
  10. Hello eveyone. New member here. I just read the twitter info and I'm so pissed off. I don't understand. What's the point of releasing an album when the tour is over?

To promote a new tour or at least keep the interest up in the current one - if it's doing alright financially, why stop now?
