1. Not sure about a firing squad, but things must happen.

But as i said, it will happen again eventually.
  2. After reviewing the tape again, I've decided, you can see at least one AK. The guy wielding it, seemed to be playing with it on its strap. Also, possibly an RPG, but its hard to be sure.

the sad truth of the matter is as long as theres war, there'll be stuff like this.

  3. When someone joins the military, they give up certian rights. Why not take away their right to fuck up? An AH-64D Apache gunship carries a 30mm cannon, with 1200 rounds, and up to 16 Hellfire missles. You really want a screw-up piloting one of those.
  4. Maybe, I'm a dick, but I'm actually really pissed that the Tea party movement has moved to other countrys. Yeah, I support them, but its an American Movement. What the hell does an Englishman, or an Israeli know about the Boston Tea Party?

Let's assume that History is taught everywhere

  6. I think Nick Clegg nailed it like a boss, and Cameron and Brown didn't do themselves any real favours.

That Tea-Party movement isn't even a real movement. It is not like the Civil Rights movement which actually changed something and got all races involved. It's the Republicans feeling sick and tired of living under Obama and changing the status quo after 8 years of failed policies. It also I believe has a lot of racial-tension behind it. The Tea Party needs to die a quick death!

So when left-wingers protested Bush, it was all right, but not the other way around?

At some point the American left decided that the First Amendment only applies to them.

Also, I have never know a racist Tea-Partier. I'm not saying they dont exist, but I have personally never known one.

Also, your post reads like a bad generic left-wing ideologue on the movement. When you get an original thought, please come back.

  9. As an American though, I assume, I know more about my countrys history, than say you. (No offense meant by that. From what I can tell from on here, you seem like a bright individual. I just doubt your countrys schools teach U.S. history, as well as its taught here. Then again, maybe they do. The way history is taught in the U.S. is shameful. I found no less than 6 errors in text-books in High School)
  10. It never really occured to me, just how coldhearted I am.

I understand your point here, but at first it seemed like you meant that only Americans know American history. Surely there's more emphasis put on it in the US, but I think it's fair to say that people learn all the important stuff no matter where they live.

Don't worry, you're not the only one in this way here. That's for a different topic, though.
  12. Latest polls show that the TV debate was a major boost for the Lib Dems. Tory, Labour and Liberals have all around 30% now. Looks like the possibility of a hung parliament is quite real.
