1. No, they haven't. I wish they did, at least some times (''40'' is the most U2-ish closer ever, really... I'd die happy if I get to sing it at any how )...
  2. ZooTV - Zooropa didn't bring any setlist changes until the Zooropa album came out and the band got familiar with the material.

360 is following the trend with that tour with the scheduled long break. I'm still doubting any (major) changes when the tour kicks off again

It is indeed a bit surprising that we are hoping for an overhaul of the setlist. U2 did, howver, switch between Bad and Sunday Bloody Sunday during the 3rd leg of the Zoo TV tour.

I've already said this in this post but I'll say it again: I think the band should "do a Radiohead" and rotate the hits each night. During the In Rainbows Tour, you'd rarely get Paranoid Android AND Airbag on the same night nor would you hear both Fake Plastic Trees AND Street Spirit - but you'd usually get one of them. U2 should do the same. They could even have a setlist A and a setlist B that varied between 8 to 10 songs. This (hopefully) would take care of any programming issues for Willy (or is it Willie?) Williams' crew but still allow for variation between each show.

Aah, why do I waste my time with this stuff!?!?!

Sunday Bloody Sunday was a regular on Outside Broadcast

  5. Sort of...many nights it was in the set but other night Bad was played instead (between All I Want Is You and Bullet The Blue Sky). They were both played during the great Washington DC show.
  6. sorry to be negative but if i'm being honest i'm expecting minimal changes to the setlist.

and as for my want list, as always, i just want them to play something(s) from 93-97 and cut down on anything from ATYCLB and HTDAAB...

my biggest worry though is that they barely change the setlist and then play that same setlist at glastonbury. that could potentially wear my already thin patience down to nothing!

i might have a go at constructing a realistic 360 setlist that i would be happy with one of these days.. never done that before.......... hmmm

  7. Cut down on HTDAAB? They're only playing two songs from it...and I think they're both working out spectacularly.

A load of us started singing the refrain in the middle of Wembley (1st night) before they walked on during the break between Elbow leaving and the guys coming on. Not to say that it was the first time that kind of thing has ever happened lol, I just mean it was as close as I'll probably ever get to singing it, and it made the hairs on my neck stand up even then!

Some obnoxious guy started YELLING "How long to sing this song" as we walked through the streets of Chicago after night 2, trying to get to the parking lots, but it never really caught on. I sang along for portions, but in the end, it ended up just making him look sort of stupid.

    Wish it hadn't though..

  10. But I think two (at the very most three) is enough from either of those two albums.

Need to have a minimum of three (if not four) songs from JT and AB...and get a song, any song (except for Playboy Mansion ), from Zooropa and Pop.

I have to agree with your last paragraph...and about the HTDAAB, well, I think they could add one more song in the shows: Yahweh after I Still Haven't Found would be great to hear in my opinion

I love that idea - maybe as an extended snippet...? Or were you more thinking acoustic?
