    How did you hack your Nokia 5800 back then? I just changed the product code to get the latest firmware v50 and changed back to my original product code, but that isn't hacking.

    What did you do and what are the risks?

    haven't picked a specific model yet but £400-£500 should suffice

    I only have the walkthrough of the hack for v40 firmware. The guys that wrote that hack are testing it out on v50


  9. Aye, cheers. Browsed some fora here and there, seems to be some work. Might keep it original then. V50 has some flaws though.


  10. Going to be a pretty decent piece of kit then. Obviously can't give any real recommendations because I have no idea what you want to run through it. Quite a difference in price once you move from the TX-SR3/SR5 to the SR8 models though. Quick canvas and the SR3 to SR6 models range between £200 and £300, then the SR8 models start from around £450.

    Yamaha are supposed to produce good recievers too so might be worth checking them out.

    Been looking at some home cinema equipment myself over the past few months but I'm yet to make any decisions for several reasons, the main reason being the cost.

    My speaker choice will determine the receiver. I'm not at all keen on have a 7.1 system so that will same me on the receiver. Something that has a few HDMI inputs that can decode most of the lossless audio formats would suffice. I will be looking at Yamaha too. Fairly prices
  12. off to buy a new phone. The 5800 just bricked beyond reasonable repair. Mid way through installing new firmware and Ovi Suite 'stopped working' leaving my phone without the correct software to function. Cheers Ovi
