1. Moment of surrender is really powerful. He hits some great notes. But the main problem of Bono is that his voice skips, crackles at relatively normal pitch. I dont care though, gives something extra imo.

Have been afraid that his pain in his back might do it difficult for him to sing, maybe he have got much better in the back now. Also the resting of his voice might give us a suprise just like 5tgh leg of Vertigo did
  9. Wow, didn't know it sounds THAT loud and clear outside a stadium
  10. The tour has began! Lets fill this thread witt new highlights!

Amazing grace was great yesterday, from 0:20 to 0:31 is amazing. He get a very powerful sound on "I was". Why doesnt he use this sound when he sing ISHFWILF?

Glastonbury was real impression, he realy "fly as singer" now. He has alot of energy in this one. Very JT-sound voice.

  11. Originally posted by Cypress:Peter, Bono's voice sounded absolutely awsome in Milan, especially during the accustic set and Electrical Storm. Even his falsetto sounded better. I was truly blown away by his voice, so warm and melodic. Moment of Surrender is awsome, I hope he keeps his voice that way. Sounds like he's really in control, technically great and has had some proper training. Hope he takes care!

The Milan show was better, no question about it...

but ES from Gothenburg 08-01 show was definitely better, IMHonO. I can't believe people keep jizzing over the Milan one – wow!
