1. As the creator of the 2 DVD-Multicam disappeared after DVD 1 (= a second disc never arrived) and due to the fact that some videos are crappy quality on that multicam, I decided to give it a shot and do a "new" multicam hence someone who wanted to do it, too, hasn't been around for weeks and apparently has other projects also in the making.

The goal is a 9cam-mix. My software doesn't allow more, and also mixing and watching 9 cams is surely enough to watch in my opinion. So I'm going for a sort of "9 best cams for each song".
I already gathered a couple of cams from some nice ppl who sent me their original files. So far, 3 complete recordings are used and many single videos.
I'm still waiting for a few recordings to arrive.

If YOU have something to contribute of which you think would be a great cam, feel free to contact me .

Here's a first little test-preview. For this version 7 cams were used.

(how can you embed youtube videos ?)

  2. For embedding put the video id, next to the &v= or ?v= or #v= between YOUTUBE tags

In your case L8bu73OdgQ4 is the video id Added it to your post, you can have a look in 'edit' to see what i did

Didn't know there's a special youtube-code here . Thank you for your help!
  4. Sample looks nice. I'd have kicked out 2 cams, though. But there are 1000 ways to make a multicam and you can't please everyone.

If you didn't get my stuff by now, it should be in the mail tomorrow or tuesday. Mail Service is rather lame up here...

Which ones ? I guess the one at about 0:10 and the FOS-jumping crowd ? I'm always up for suggestions. Btw, are the cams (should arrive tomorrow then) u sent complete recordings ?
  6. Sample looks great btw, but i think there are one or two shots where the image looks squeezed. Or maybe I havent realized that Bono is that short and fat

BTW which software are you using? I think you can only have 9 video tracks, but you can use many more angles. You can cut the video's and place them next to each other and the track decides which one you actually see. Shaky explanation but i only did one short clip myself. And used much more then 10 shots.

Yeah I know about that trick, but it's quite some work. I can only choose 9 Video tracks but of course cut the video in order to insert a scene from another video, if you mean that. Once I have all files I'll see how things are.
Hm, about the squeezed image (Bono short an fat)...when I import 4:3 aspect videos to my project (16) I adjust it by changing the ratio in the file characteristics of that video. I thought this is the way to do it. gotta check how it looks like on a 16 TV monitor, maybe then I get ur point better.
  8. You shouldnt use that trick.

Just 'resize' the video so that a part of it is cut off. Or cut off a bit and stretch a bit, but changing 4/3 to 16/9 makes it look weird in my opinion.

And yeah the cutting is a lot of work My project took me ours and was just 7 minutes long lol

Yep, the shaky front cam. And the one used around 2:46 and 3:50.
The shots I sent you should be more or less complete. Don't really remember. I think the GA cam is complete. The behind the stage cam misses MoS, I guess. In parts both should be a nice add-on.
  10. @ Yeah:
The camse are GA AND Behind the stage ? Awesome!

About the video you quoted with times, I didn't have the original files of that cam, I'm pretty sure it looks like this (Some "blurry" lines etc) due to the way the person burnt it on DVD. I'll get the original files tho.

    @ Risto:
I'm using Magix Pro X 2.0 ... Only have it since yesterday and didn't get behind that way of "reseizing" it. In case u have the same programme, how do I do it ? I suspect is has (generally) something to do with video effects and then setting the resolution (??) manually to a certain number....ehem ?
  11. Normally you can drag the video around the canvas and also resize it by dragging one of the corners.

Dont know how it works in your program though

I'll use u later as a tester if I did it right
