1. Any other fans of the legend?? Just got some tickets for his concert at the O2 in London....cant wait to see him! Its been a lifelong ambition!

Anyone else a fan?? or even seen him live?? His concerts look awesome!

  2. One of my all-time favorite artists, a true genious.

I saw him live when I was 10 years old (my parents are big fans too and they took me to the Supernatural show in Madrid), I have very few memories from the show but I'm sure it was epic. I wish I had seen him more times... next time he comes here I'll get tickets for sure.

Samba Pa Ti is my all-time favorite instrumental song; and it's the only song that I actually nail on guitar... ANd I'm proud of it

  3. Lucky you, I didn't have so much luck despite coming to the venue where the show I was going to attend was to take place. Damn storm

  5. Nah, I don't have the right guitar, nor the right amp, nor the right tone to do a "proffessional" cover... I simply enjoy playing every note the same as Carlos
But thanks for the heads up anyway

"living legend" is exactly how I'd describe Santana. He plays in the same league as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and BB King... Just a step behind Hendrix.
There was an interesting interview with him in a spanish magazine some weeks ago where he said that he'll stop playing/touring only when "the Lord takes him", so... we're lucky
