1. Course the best pirate moments, are when they attack the nval vessels down there. I dont care how good your group of pirates is. AKs, and RPGs, are no match for a modern naval vessel.

I think every one of there attacks against a warship to date has failed.

  2. I'm not trying to piss anyone off.

Speaking of the debt: http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ (U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK )

We're all in the same shit, everyone is in debt over their heads, and Greece is just the first victim.

I guess in next 5-10 years China will be leading country in the world.

I agree with the China thing.

Actually China scares me more than Iran, N.Korea, and Al Quada combined together.
  4. Don't be. China might grow a lot now. But there are issues that will explode when it has the chance. The way they rule the country can't continue when the gap between rich and poor increases.
  5. Cant see the clip. It says its not available But I did hear that story on the news.

They are not targetting warships. But sometimes they attack a ship that later seems to be a fully equipped warship.

No sane or insane person shoots at a naval vessel

Don't be so sure. Look what happened to countries with capitalism...and it was all about the greed of the Wall Street.

As far as I know, they (China) didn't feel even a bit of this big western crisis. They have some genious minds there, so they knew that west will step into shit one day. So what did they did?

They bought metal ore that is enough to run their industry for next 50 years. 50 years man, with incredible economy growth that they have.

Before the crisis, they built a couple of so-called "ghost cities". They built few completely new cities that no-one lives in them, because they thought: if we build buildings or cities, they can't just disappear or lost value as money can.

The most popllar theory is that since most of them are iliterate, they cant tell the diffrence between warships, and freighters.

It dont seem that hard though. If there one of the shades of grey that navys favor, covered with antenaes, and have large guns, you really should stay away.

Chinas economic system has for all intents and purposes evolved into state-run capitalism.
  9. China does not feel the crisis because it was not 'their' economy that was hit.

The USA and the EU have a 'shared' economy. Lots of companies that operate in both. When something happens here or in the USA we feel it all. Almost the only thing China does is exporting. Since their prices are lower they might even profit from the economic situation here.

But it also has a dangerous side. When the economy of China raises a lot more, they can't keep their prices low. Since everyone will want a share. Also don't forget China has major issues outside the cities.

Not saying that they wont get bigger than us, i dont care. But they are bound to have similar crisis' in the future.

Well since there main industry is exporting, what it comes down to, is that at some point in the future, I'm sure both the U.S. and E.U. will have initiatives to buy local to help the economy, and when that happens, China is gonna have to find something else.

I'm sure some people felt it here in Western Europe. But nobody has it that bad here. You are poor here if you cant afford an XBOX for your kid or a holiday to a the other side of the world.

We all need to see things in context. We are talking of a few percent of recession the last year. We can't go forward all the time.

Sure there were countries hit harder, but they had issues before the crisis as well. Eastern and South Europe had delicate economies for years. It sucks, and it hurts people there. But it was bound to happen. It will happen again, to you and me.

Import taxes are already high for a few important Chinese products. You can only do so much without causing political issues
