  1. Looking like that PopMart show may just make my final 5, Chris. Lots of things I love about it already-

    -Perhaps Madonna was in attendance or something? Multiple snippets, though "Into the Groove" was a frequent Discotheque snippet, so maybe it's a coincidence
    -Edge's kareoke is the Macarena
    -I do love me a show that closes with "Rain"

  2. Its not a perfect show the barca one. I was just listening to it and i like it

    About the Karaoke. It isnt called Macarena Out Of Control for nothing

    Miami is far better in audio quality, barely any audience though. But the cleanest popmart recording.

  6. Alright guys...thanks so much for helping out in choosing some shows, but I think I've got this down, unless somebody has like, the greatest show they've ever HEARD, in their LIFE, and "omg wtf why isnt dat on ur list" comes up....but this is what I think I'm going to go with.

    1993-05-11: Rotterdam: Recommended by Gerard. I've listened to the show the night before this, and though I didn't care for it as much as others, he swears by this residency, so I'm going to give this night a shot. The crowds there are always great, so I hope this Zoo show rocks my socks off.

    2009-07-21: Amsterdam: Chosen after some 360° perusing...I was going to go with Dublin Night III before settling for this one. Why? Landmark show- high energy, first performances of Elevation, UTEOTW, and Bad- the latter which I have yet to hear on a 360° boot. I'll sacrifice a bit of sound quality that you lose in the ArenA for a great show.

    1997-11-14: Miami, FL: U2 play PopMart in Miami. Is that not enough of a reason? I've heard several good things about this show, whether or not it's anyone's favorite boot, it's sure to be a fun listen. I read in "The Best of Propaganda", I believe in WIllie Williams' tour diary, that the stands weren't exactly...erm..."full" that night...so we'll see how the audience in this bootleg goes

    2001-05-03: Cleveland, OH A soundboard- something I'm not too familiar with. I've heard my fair share of them, but I download audience sources and IEM matrixes the most, as that's what I enjoy to hear. I'm all for stepping outside my boundaries and giving this show- one of Elevation's most downloaded and highest reviewed in terms of sound quality- a shot.

    1990-01-10: Rotterdam: The Netherlands get two shout-outs in the final five...and...this one? To be honest, I'm almost ashamed that in 100 bootlegs, I almost wouldn't have heard this one yet. I don't know why it wasn't in the first batch of shows I ever downloaded. I've never heard a single criticism about this show, so it has to be #100.


    Thanks for everybody's help in deciding- I probably would have torn myself apart trying to pick some great shows to count it down with if it wasn't for everyone on this site's help- those who posted on this thread, and those who wrote reviews for shows, hand in hand!

    Love that one too, but I've already listened to it. One of my first shows!
  9. Rotterdam is all about I Still Haven't Found and the Irish Heartbeat snippet during Bad. The whole show is so relaxed for that era.
