If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't` eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. If a liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a person of color is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

    Discuss.

Why this black and white vision? Where does it get you? You can't possibly believe that there are only 2 kinds of of people... All that stigmatizing gets you nowhere. But otherwise a nice example of how screwed up the two-party system can make your way of thinking.

actually, most of them are correct.
  3. Gordon Brown has resigned as prime minister. David Cameron is on his way to Buckingham Palace to speak to the Queen. Thoughts?

  4. Yeah right So am I human if i am not a conservative or liberal person?

Judging from the list it seems like your conservatives are our liberalists. And your liberalists are our socialists.
  5. David Cameron = New Prime Minister

    GET IT GREAT SPEACH

    LONG LIVE MR. CAMERON
  6. He had to take Clegg with him, though. I wonder how that will work.
  7. Well, will be interesting to see how long this Conservative-Lib Dem coalition will last. All well and good agreeing now, something which the Lib Dem's were going to do all along. They'd be daft to pass up an easy pass into 'power'. If they'd rejected and we went for a conservative minority, it'd be a while before Nick Clegg/Lib Dem's would get an oppurtunity to get this close to the decision making team. Of course, agreeing now to get in and disagreeing later wouldn't be good for either party.

As for Gordon Brown, well he left number 10 with a sincere speech. Time to look for a new leader and personally would like to see David Miliband take over from Brown as party leader.
