    I wouldn't be so sure

Just kidding I just meant that I don't think they're rehearsing yet, there's still a month until the US leg starts again, they have plenty of time. As someone said before, rehearsals for Barcelona (for the start of the tour!!!!!!!!!) started just 2 weeks before June 30th... So I don't think there will be much rehearsing, just the basics to get tuned a bit, and that's all. Maybe they fly to Salt Lake the week before and rehearse there 4 or 6 days.

so are you saying you don't think there will be much change in the set? what does everyone else think? do you think the setlist will be pretty much the same with one or two different songs or do you think there will be some drastic changes?

i bloody hope its the latter or my interest in this is going to evaporate in an instant
  3. Sadly, I do.
  4. yeah maybe i should get my hopes down... you'd think i would've learned that by now!!

i think this started cos i'm just hoping and praying they play a totally different set at glastonbury but i can't see that happening unless they start playing the different songs on the tour dates leading up to glasto..
  5. I am a student at the University of Utah, where they will open the next leg in SLC. I received this email message a few days ago:

    To: University of Utah Students
From: Alma Allred, Director, Commuter Services
Subject: Commuter Advisory for June 3rd

We want to let you know of a major concert "U2", taking place at
Rice-Eccles Stadium at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 3rd. It will have an
impact on your commute that day and on parking availability (particularly
in the West Stadium parking lot in the two weeks preceding the event).

This concert will bring approximately 50,000 people to campus; and will
constitute the largest crowd at the Stadium since the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic
    ceremonies.

Nearly half of the West Stadium parking lot will be occupied by concert
production activities and equipment beginning on May 17th. We anticipate
that the entire parking lot will be back in regular service by Monday,
    June 7th.

In addition to the evening U2 concert, several high school graduations will
take place at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on June 3rd and 4th. Graduations
are scheduled at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm on the 3rd, and at
11:00 am, 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm the following day. The high school graduations
will impact the parking lots near the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

We encourage everyone who needs to come to campus on June 3rd to do so on
UTA, by car pool, bicycle or other means that minimize traffic and parking
    congestion.

Thank you for your patience with this inconvenience.

    Sincerely,

    Mark Burk, Director
    Rice Eccles Stadium

Ha ha! I know what you mean!

Anyway, I don't care if they start tomorrow morning or a week from now as long as they shape up a good encore set... WOWY needs to wake up and walk

  8. I'll try to keep you all updated. I live 3 blocks from the stadium, but I work a lot so during the day I mostly won't be able to be over by the stadium. I'll try to post pics starting on day 1!
  9. On that yearly all-U2 radio show a couple days ago, they interviewed Willie Williams, who mentioned that he and the band had just been rehearsing in or around Ireland/England. He said it was mostly for Glastonbury, but also for the upcoming leg of the 360 Tour.
  10. Thanks for posting that email Greg!!

It's confirmation for me that things for 360 part 2 are almost ready to be set in motion! And for me it's all a part of the concert experience!! It's Crazy to think that a month from now I would have already seen the Denver show!!! WooHoo!!
  11. sorry, wrong topic. you can delete this post.
  12. If there's not changes to the setlist I'll have 2 tickets available fir the NJ show! I'm not going to sick through a terrible encore and half of ATYCLB for the third time lol
