1. I do now yes! About a 5 minute walk from where it all happened!

  2. I can get a 12 bus which comes right outside my house. Then a 10 minute bus journey to Murrayfield!
  3. Sarajevo, Tel Aviv, Prague
  4. Leeds any day of the week (and not just cos i was there!)

    - funny thing is though, it was my first ever gig let alone my first U2 gig and this was long before the days of being able to download bootlegs online so all i had to go on as examples of U2 shows were ZOOTV Sydney, R&H and under a blood red sky which are all mind blowing performances, so when i saw them for the first time at Leeds i just thought every U2 show must be that standard. it was only 10 years later when i began to amass a large collection on bootlegs that i realised how many average performances there were on that tour and how special Leeds actually was!
that was probably the best day of my life though hands down... nothing will ever top that day and no gig U2 or otherwise since has ever come close. i know the last 10 years have turned me into the disillusioned U2 fan i am now, but back then i was absolutely obsessed and probably as big a U2 fan as is humanly possible and had been for the two years leading up to that day and when it finally came i was almost more excited than i could handle and when mofo started i nearly collapsed.... greatest day EVER..

    anyway...

other great shows are sarajevo, santiago and i can't believe no one has mentioned miami!!? miami is probably THE BEST sounding bootleg i have EVER heard! it almost sounds like an official release but just with very low crowd noise. i can't recommend miami enough

  5. I recommend 1997-11-14 Miami a lot of times, it's an amazing show&performance&bootleg. I always include it among my 5 favorite Popmart's

Wow, that "review" (somehow) of the Leeds concert is really inspired, it surely was a very special concert for you, congrats for being there

thanks! i did actually write a 'proper' review for it in the bootleg section and submitted some photos i took. but yes it was beyond words for me at the time. i just know that i will never feel that level of excitement for anything again!

i was on a completely different level of U2 fandom back then compared to what i am now - something else that will never reach that level again!

    good times

  7. Hello!

  8. I love the Paris show
(Voici notre arche de triomphe, arche de triomphe irlandais)
  9. ric is right about the Leeds concert. I was also there and the gig was amazing and having a radio broadcast of the gig to hear it again makes it even more special
