  1. I don't think a list of shows where a user can access a streaming video is worth compiling. If it's a specific show then check the show page and if there are no videos available then head over to youtube
  2. That is a constructive reply, and a valid reason. Compiling a list is 2 minutes work though. Imho the only reason not to do it is because with dozens of lists the site becomes harder to comprehend.

  5. You make it sound as a bad thing. We have the content, if we can change the way we present the content that makes it better for everyone, everyone wins.
  6. That is NOT alway useful, a lot of times the users don't put the dates (or the right dates) on the video's description, making them really hard to find. Moreover, there are a lot of videos from recent tours (>2001) from many cities; if you want to find a video from 1992 Milan without the right description, you'll have to go through 20+ pages of 2009 and 2005 videos until you find it.

    Why making it so hard, if you can write a simple script to list them here?

  8. A list doesn't add value. A constructive torrent option does though aswell as a comprehensive photo section. We have both of those and both encourage user input which should be the direction to go.

    If that's your definition of hard, I wonder how you manage real life?

    Btw. If I search for Milan 1992 U2, all I get is U2 videos from Milan 1992. Really hard.
  10. Of course i agree about the torrent and photo section. You know I'm a huge advocate of the first one But its just plain stupid to add 1000s of clips without presenting them in a good way.

    Not saying that we should add a list, but its always good to try improving the site. Especially if we already have the content.

    I doubt you find all the videos ever uploaded for that show. There will be a lot that don't respond to that search, just because people is lazy and they give video's description as "U2 live", or "Zoo Station in Italy", etc.


    Nevermind, I just wanted to say that a list of the shows (specially pre-2000) which have streaming videos is/might be useful, it takes 3 minutes to write and doesn' t make any harm.
