    Or don't play it at all and play any of the other 50 forgotten songs which are better than the 75% of the current setlist.

  3. i was just listening to popmart miami and as i was listening to please i really got into thinking how it almost sounds like it was actually written for the world of today... especially the 'september, streets capsizing, spilling over, down the drain, shards of glass, splinters like rain' which almost sounds like a premonition of 9/11... so maybe in the same way as it was originally written about IRA terrorists it could now be directed (subtly) at the global threat of terrorism and how ridiculous and pointless it is. could be a really powerful part of the show especially if it leads into streets again...

    i think it would be a much more relevant, powerful and universal replacement for the walk on/Aung San Suu Kyi piece which has generated more than enough attention and run it's course..

  4. ^ I'm all for replacing Walk On with Please. I found it plain boring when I heard it live. The mask thingy didn't help much either.

    Did they play All I want Is You on the 360 tour yet? I think that would be another great one to go in the setlist to maybe take the place of With Or Without You some nights.

    What? The Breathe drum beat at the start is unique. I love that drum beat.

    Lol, Holy Joe. They didn't really play that on a live tour. They played it in a K-mart to promote Pop.

    All I Want Is You hasn't been played on 360 yet but I think it got a little boring so they stoppped playing it. If they bring it back, they should play it like they did in Popmart Mexico. The crowd were much louder than Bono. And of course, was only under 3 minutes which made it less boring.

  7. But they still played Holy Joe it live - that's what I am refering to and in my opinion with a litlte instrumental re-work and the 360 stage, I think it would work pretty well.

    you missed last night on earth! and there's a few songs i think are too nice in your list like kite, all i want is you and window in the skies - personally i'm sick of niceness - i want some darker angrier songs or songs with some bollocks (HMTMKMKM and dirty day being perfect examples)

    as for holy joe i would bet my life on the fact they will never play that song again. cant think of one reason why they would!? good song though!
