  1. This is what is driving me crazy about this thread - it seems many here refuse to accept and use any information other than via U2.com.

    I understand that information on U2.com is very reliable, but it is slow. So why not gather information that is probably reliable (a truck driver has little incentive to lie, and in my opinion wouldn't lie) and get the information much faster?

    unless the info is from an official source then it simply cannot be trusted. I wouldn't trust my flight and accommodation plans to the words of a truck driver. That's not to say he is a liar or that it's useless trying to obtain information. I just think it would be crazy to trust it (and therefore useless).


  4. HA! U2.com has ALL the incentive to lie - it is completely bias! It's like getting news about your favorite sports team from your favorite sports team. U2.com will tell us that Bono is "doing great" and "looking forward to returning". I'd much rather get THE FACTS from a nurse who is familiar with his injury. That factual testimony would be much more reliable than U2.com.

    Indeed, Greg you proved you were a reliable source here, and U2.com is really slow given the information. It is obvious that construction crew will have the information before us! Thank you for your update!

    You assume that the only people interested are those flying places and booking hotels.
