You never know guys, if the surgery all goes well and they give Bono a huge amount of pain killers to help aid the recovery, we may see him back on stage rather quickly. Vicodin for the win!

German News outlet reports Bono suffered a Herniated Disk

Quick internet search: Most with a herniated disk surgery are better in about 4 weeks. Sometimes it takes longer. 4 to 6 weeks

Actually, they speculate that it might be a herniated disk. That's the general assumption, though. And that's why I don't get all the drama.

+1 to Yeah. We really can't say anything for sure until there's an official announcement of his real injury. Herniated disk? Probable, but not sure. Therefore, WAIT. A few more days and it all will be clearer.
