Eight weeks, minimum, recovery, but still after that time you need to be carefull not to overstrain it, so rehearsals begin August then 2 hour concerts? It's fine if these also go to 2011, normally you have to wait 4 years on the next concerts, now one year later is still gaining 2 years

The Edge hinted today that there is a good possibility at least some of the shows will be postponed. But he's 95% confident Bono makes it in time for all of them.

I've been out the whole day and I missed all this. My father has told me the whole postponement story in the moment I arrived home... FUCK.
  5. LikeASong Yeh I think that was all our reactions
  6. Yup I share the same senitiment. Iv'e been feeling pretty bad all day. Just trying to get through it. It feels like the day my dad had his five artery by-pass surgery. It sort of has hit home.

I'm very thankful B's gonna be OK and just has to recover now.

My summer plans are still on so if anyone wants to meet up in Denver, Philly or Jersey, let me know. We can drown our sorrows away. I don't know about Miami I might not head out there at this point.
  7. Feel sorry for you guys who had tickets, feel sorry for U2, but Bono's health is everything that counts. One advantage for us Europeans though: his voice won't be that tired at the beginning of the European leg
  8. hey so whats the general opinion on what to do with the tickets. are they gonna be giving refunds, trade-ins or something lol. i wont do either of those tbh but just wondering as a last resort

A full refund should be offered by the ticket vendor. In most cases for rescheduled shows your original ticket is normally valid but always check with the box office.
