South American leg: August > onwards

    That's what I think..

No way, that is south hemisphere's winter.

Next year will be pretty busy and tough for them, if they have to re-schedule all this american shows...
  2. wow two years in a row headlining glastonbury with two different bands... i don't think damon's career could be anymore satisfying and successful... !

anyway i'm very pleased with the choice - blur have always been one of my all time favourite bands and i've always loved gorillaz too and at least it's something innovative, interesting and forward looking.

    good

In that case, swap SA for Australia indeed..

  4. It's winter anyway, Australia is south hemisphere as well xD

  5. I know, but they could start a bit later. Remember 2006 with Australia being played in November.

  6. That would mean that the 360 tour lasts from June 2009 to December 2011... Historic record, 6 months more than Zoo TV & Vertigo tours It makes some sense, nevertheless.

Anyway, I'm tired of wild speculation, I'll just wait for official news.

ATU2 has some more solid rumours about early 2011, with SA, Australia and the US from February till May.
  8. Bad news this - AND Edge just made it worse by saying they were planning to perform a new song.

  9. Indeed, but he did say we may get new material sooner rather than later and he isn't Bono so it may be accurate

  10. Unfortunately, even Edge and the rest (see Adam's recent comments) seem to throw out spin these days, like with the hype around NLOTH.

We were supposed to get Songs of Ascent last year and IIRC they said something similar when NLOTH was released about getting a follow up sooner rather than later.

So I dunno, i'm not expecting anything before the end of the year (if not next year) - would make sense too seeing as Coldplay's new album will be releasing around then too.
  11. What has Coldplay to do here? I don't think U2 plans spin around Coldplay's new album, I don'n't think they give a damn.
