What do you think? Did they cut it out from the DVD because it will no longer be opening the 2010 shows, or because of the bad quality?

Imo it's the first option that explains the second one. They did not plan to open with Breathe anymore, and I guess that, in order to promote the Tour which was planned to began tomorrow, they put it off from the main film. Thus, the technical team just did not try to make a perfect editing of Breathe, and put it as a Bonus Track.
It's like Mysterious Ways from Slane : Bonus Track => Worse Quality

It just hurts. So bad. Because of all the Pasadena clips I've seen that are as far as we know, official, this is easily- EASILY- my favorite.
