I'm listening to Running to Stand Still and yeah I like, it sounds very proffessional . Your voice is much better and stronger than mine .

I like the mix of piano and guitar too. How did you record this then? Impressive

I've only listened to Running to Stand Still but I like it. Well Done

Thanks I'm a bit ashamed about ducking out of the falsettos though I recorded it on an M-Audio Fast Track Pro that was connected to a Mac and just mixed it through Garageband thanks for that though

No problem, its the truth, and did you have to pay for thes M-Audio Fast Track Pro and Garageband or are they free? I was thinkin of doing a simular thing myself... .

Don't wurry when I play that I try those falsettos and I can never pull them off, it was a good cover
  4. Awh well the fast track pro was about 250 Australian dollars but you can get cheaper ones easily and GarageBand comes as standard on Apple Macs Thanks again
  5. I've downloaded and listened to Running To Stand Still....... Gorgeous!!! I love the slight guitar on the background (specially at the start, before the 2nd chorus, and the solo - those bendings!!!!), and the vibrato on your voice while singing the Ha la la la de daaay's..... Well done

Downloading VD'sL and Unchained Melody now!!

Still ruuunning... Still ruuunning... Still ruuunning... Still ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunning...
  6. WOW!!! I love how you turned Van Diemen's Land in a fantastic folk song, great!!! It's awesome how your uncle comes in harmonizing on the 2nd verse (now kings will ruleeeeeeeee...). AMAZING, great great version of a great song, I really really love it!!!

I'll sort this out later, sorry, its tea time

EDIT: Don't really know what to do here.

Its my attempted version at Running To Stand Still, I'm not a proffessional by any means but I thought I'd just put it on...

  10. Where your upstroke for strumming man? Pretty good attempt at it, you can here yourself straining yourself a bit sometimes but you pretty much nailed the falsettos
