1. It's not what you think it is. It's not some kind of 70s folk protest album. It's an electronic head fuck. It's got news footage over music by people like Aphex Twin, Orbital, that kind of thing. Just listen to it, and tell me if Madeleine Albright doesn't make you want to vomit.

News footage? So his source material is biased......

  3. No. If you want to kill someone you shoot them in the head. If you want to diffuse a situation you shoot into the air or below the waist.

That I do. I stand by calling you a borderline racist.

As someone who is actually trained in formal speaking, I'd say up till recently I was winning, since I was actually making arguements, and presentling points, well you guys were just bashing Israel, and insulting me. That being said, your arguements have improved, so I look forward to debateing with all of you like adults know.

OK trained formal speaker. Please explain to me why I am a racist - or borderline racist as you now call me?

As some one who has taken some informal training (my dad was a trained sniper for the NY Corrections Emergency Response Team (prison system SWAT team), I have to say that that is a big misconception. You cannot diffuse every situation that way - sometimes, you may even escalate the situation. Shooting into the air can be dangerous because that bullet will eventually come down and you have no idea where it will land or who it will hit. Shooting below the waist is not only more difficult than movies make it look, but it does not prevent your 'opponent' from fighting back.

Ok, that's true in a combat when there are real weapons on both sides... But in that turkish boat, there were only weapons in Israeli's hands. The activists, medics and periodists didn't have any weapon, therefore no chance of shooting back.

My comment was meant to be taken generally and not specific to this situation.....
I didnt say shoot - I said fight. Hands can be lethal as well. When someone is rushing at you, you have only a few seconds to determine if your life is in danger or not.

I still want to know why these people made a medical center on the ship the evening before the Isrealis boarded. The only reason I can see is that they knew that what they were doing would cause a violent situation.

It wasn't the turkish rushing against the israelis, it was the opposite. Israelis were coming down off helicopters and boarding the ship; therefore, the guilt on the 9 deaths resides exclusively on the Israel side. How many israeli soldiers were hurt (just "hurt", not even killed) the other day? Not as many as turkish activists, I'm sure. And "hands are lethal as well" is a very bold statement, when you have a 30-bullets-per-second gun in your hand I don't think you care much about a guy coming up to you with naked hands, do you?

so going for a headshot (or 9) is the way to go?

  10. Yes.
The poor poor unarmed israelis were being attacked by hoards of violent medics and reporters... I would have done the same!! Those medical kits, thrown strongly enough, could have broken the poor poor israeli's wrists or legs!!!
