To tell you the truth, i've only got about 11 well know players, the rest are just there to keep the balance down, I think you can make about 3 changes to your squad in each round aswell as changing the starting 11 out of the 23 you picked.

5 teams so far guys, looking good to increase aswell, have until the RSA vs Mexico game to get your teams in on Friday

Its just straight forward fantasy football, get a points buget, then pick a squad of the best players whilst trying to keep the buget balanced, then score points on how your team of players do in the tournment.

Do you think USA should be ranked higher than 14th?

I don't. And is it illeagal to bet anywhere else in the US excpet for Vagas?

USA are good but if England don't beat USA I will be embarrased
  3. Allright, South Africa against Mexico this Friday with France vs. Uruguay in the evening. What do we think?

    My guess:

    SA 1-3 Mexico
    Uruguay 1-1 France

Don't rate the French that high. Reached the final 4 years ago but they lost a lot of potential. They were easily beaten at Euro 2008 too. Domenech isn't a great coach.

South Africa will do whatever it takes to play a good match but Mexico is just too tough for them.

Yeah, i'll pretty much mirror that, Uruguay will be tricky for France, don't think their good enough to beat them but should get a draw. And Mexico/SA? Mexico will be looking for the last 16, so an easy win for them, maybe goals in the second half.
  5. Ill say Mexico 0-0 South Africa
    and France 2-0 Uruguay

Indeed, and with Forlan and Suarez up front, I think Uruguay can surprise.
  7. South Africa 2 - 1 Mexico
    Uruguay 3 - 1 France

Uruguay is better than France nowadays, Forlan rocks big time, and France without Mr. Zinedine God Zidane isn't the same.
And South Africa has the home factor, and Mexico isn't that good. It will be pretty tied I think, maybe a 1-1 is more likely.

I have to respectfully disagree Serigo

Urugauy have only 1 player, Forlan, well he's the only 1 I've heard of.

They aren't gonna scored 3 against Evra, Gallas, Clichy, Abidal and Sagna.
France also have: Henry, Anelka, Cisse, Ribery and Malouda, not to mension Diarra and Diaby.
  9. Time will telll... I'm only saying that France won't have a bed of roses against Uruguay

  10. yeah the French have no fighting spirit ...

Of course I want Uruguay to win

Spain have world class players, loads of them, its basically Barca and Real Madrid v The Rest of the World
  11. Anybody know the song there playing on the ESPN mobile commercial for the world cup?
  12. Mexico will draw to South Africa, the crowd advantage they have is enormous.

Uruguay can win versus France, Suarez
