I completely disagree with that, sorry. UTEOTW was epic with Bono and Edge trying to reach hands. The hanging his jacked thing was funny and MoS was one of the best performed songs on the Rose Bowl DVD. I suppose that's your opinion though

I 98% agree with you here. I thought the jacket thing was nice, maybe not so much "funny", but I liked him hanging it up and it floating away...it just worked, for me. I wish the outro on UTEOTW was a little bit longer; it's cut short by about 16 bars from the original live versions. I really liked the driving force and impact that it used to have- and to most extents, still does have. But yeah, them reaching out for each other and not being able to reach was just EPIC, and every time, I think it'll happen, and my heart races...and then I smile to myself as the song ends and I admire what a great song that is, and the symbolism caked in the performance.

I wanted the UTEOTW outro to be longer. It's one of my favourite U2 live songs and one of my favourite U2 songs. I just love the lyrics of the song and how hard rock like it is.

Ditto. Also wish they would have kept the strobe lights like they did for the past two tours, but there's no telling exactly how that would have looked under the Claw, so perhaps the stuttered spotlights used in the opening guitar hook suited it better anyway.
