1. No. Jobs are hard to find in Michigan.
  2. Sounds like your going into Fabien Socialist territory. That if Im doing nothing with my life, that i am no use to society.

  3. I can understand that. But if you could find work, you would work, right? And then you'd pay taxes. I don't get where's slavery in that story?

You say you don't want government assistance in your education. But you don't have work and so you don't know when you'll be able to pay for collage. And so it goes around and around until one day you'll relize that:

    a) you didn't go to collage
    b) you don't have work

Taking government assitance, and paying taxes are too entirely separate thing, and stop implying that I'm a loser.

  5. You work, you pay taxes, you ASSIST government with your money your whole life, so why not take government assistance for just few years?!

I'm not saying that you're loser, I know a lot of people that look for work every day and can't find any. I just think that you have wrong understandment for some things.

If you want to be dependent on governemnt, that your choice.
  7. The first results of the general election which took place today show that we're going to have a right-wing government. Haven't been this happy for a while. A great day for Slovakia.

    - Additional loan with (very) low interest.

They want to scrap the first system now. This means no public transport (around €160/month) and no monthly budget. Around 50% of the 630 000 students have said they wouldnt study without it, since they cant afford it. Not weird if you see that books of one course can cost up to 70 euros. And there are around 10-20 courses each year.

And a possible 50% decrease in students is destructive for a country like Holland where knowledge is very important in its economy.

That's not true. Some parties (D66/VVD) want to change the system (which is necessary imo). D66 want to scrap the monthly budget over the next few years, but they want to keep the public transport. They and I think it's very reasonable that students loan money for their study and life and pay back after their study period (when most of the time they have a good job).

Now, when you have loaned money, you have 10 years to pay back. Then, you have time 20 years time to pay your study back with a minimum of 45 euros a month. That's very reasonable in my opinion.

And students who do now want to loan money, they're just not motivated enough.

The money the government saves with this, they want to invest in education: more quality.

    It's that easy.

  9. Problem is: you need a brain for college.
  10. More discipline than brains.
