  1. THat makes sense, Harry, and indeed the lack of variety and evolution in Muse's sound is/will be their biggest problem, and maybe the obstacle to be the biggest band. But some of you must be wrong when everyone (The Killer's fans, The Killer's haters and musical critics) agree that Day & Age was TK's worst album to date!

    I thought Coldplay was the obstacle to be the biggest band.

    Oh and I definitely agree that Day & Age was the Killers worst album, no doubts about that certainly.

    I think we've had this subjective debate before elsewhere, and indeed you could apply that logic to stuff like religion lol but this isn't the thread to discuss that, other than I don't think the simple fact that a large number of people think the same means anyone's right or wrong. I mean, I came across an article (probably NME mind, so not to be taken too seriously) where basically everyone was ripping WGRYWH as the worst U2 song ever, and apparently it's thought as such by every U2 fan and the band themselves. I'm sorry, what? But that's simply my opinion coming into play. Me and Yogi both love it, so sod the rest of you

    I highly doubt there was any article that branded WGRYWH as their worst song, more like Miami or Elevation, the various U2 polls support this and the band has never said that they dislike the song.

    But I disagree, certainly having a large number of people think the same thing definitely doesn't make it better or worse (otherwise the tripe you hear on radio these days would be the best music) but there are other metrics.

    For example, Day & Age received far less favourable reviews from critcs than Sam's Town or Hot Fuss, also it's singles were not received as well as those from previous albums - and this is despite Day & Age being the most 'pop' album they've done so far.

    Also, most hardcore Killer's fans (my brother included) have said that the general fan consensus is that Day & Age is their worst album. Most of them dislike the influence of Stuart Prince and prefer Flood & Moulder - and hey most U2 fans would agree that Flood is better than 'Mr. Madonna' Price.

  9. hmmm... sounds very very Day And Age with all that repetitive falsettos and base drums and so. I like it, but as I like Day And Age: just for a while. It won't be my favorite song ever, that's for sure. Decent.
