All Dire Straits / Knopfler and The Police / Sting discussions

Dire Straits broke up in 1994, but they're still one of my favorite bands ever.
And what about The police? They broke up in 1985, but they've reunited again this year, and they're well known worldwide.

Both are great bands, both are fantastic performers, and both are a bit forgotten this days. Oh, and both are on position 2) in my All-Time-Band-Ranking!

I haven't been able to decide which one deserves the second position, even after years and years of listetning to them. I love both, and if anytime they perform along with U2 (unlikely, but possible), it would be the extasis of my life. I could die then.


As said, any DS or Police fans up there? Show your face!

and as for the Police. Almost like a 2nd love (after U2 haha) im going to their concert next year when they hit here in NZ
