1. I miss this song. It really was a great opener.
  2. Breathe is a good song, but still a hard song to choose for the critical opening song for a show; i mean, how do you clap to a 6/8 rhythm?

also, why did the band omit the opening track of a show in the DVD 'Live From Rose Bowl'?

that would never have happened to Streets, Zoo Station or City Of Blinding Lights?

they have never played it live since 09, another sign of the boys not being completely satisfied with the song.

  3. Favourite NLOTH song.
  4. Good tune still..should have stayed in the setlist.
  5. meh, I don't miss it at all. awkward lyrics (til the end), overdrawn intro, too long in general imo much prefer the other intros. Im excited i could get even better for my anahiem show as opposed to this at the rose bowl

As much as I think they gave up too soon on Breathe, I have to admit I would much rather hear EBTTRT.
  7. I really loved this as an opener but I think Bono struggled with the lyrics pretty often and the whole song never really reached its potential. Which is a shame.

I have to agree here. Though I often wonder what the song would have been like if they kept the lyrics written about Nelson Mandella. I know we heard some of them, but I mean the entire song.
